This activity falls under the Development Account (DA) project on “Establishing National Technology Development and Transfer Systems in select ESCWA member states” which aims to strengthen the capacity of select countries in the ESCWA region to create an enabling policy environment for research and development, and commercialization of research results.  
The objective of the workshop is to prepare a national innovation system legislation roadmap to address the gaps and recommendations identified at both national and institutional levels. Policy makers will have evidence to draft specific proposed initiatives to support the national research, development and innovation eco system.
