This technical meeting seeks to enhance the capacities of member countries to compile and produce relevant disability statistics in accordance to the Washington Group questions.
 
The workshop is expected to accomplish the following:
1- To compile national data and establish a base line for monitoring purposes
2-To harmonize disability measures
3-To improve production of disability statistics from surveys and censuses
 
The workshop activities included sessions on reviewing concepts standards and methods, analysis and production of disability statistics, coupled by working group exercises to ensure understanding of methods.
