The EGM is an opportunity to discuss ESCWA's region-specific definition of social exclusion and to review the findings of its qualitative field work.  Regional and international experts attentive to the problems facing excluded groups as well as to the nuances of introducing such a concept into developmental and institutional policies and analyses will come together for the two-day EGM.
