The Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) conducted an expert group meeting on labour markets and labour market policy on 22 March 2011 at the United Nations House in Beirut, Lebanon. In response to the challenges that ESCWA member countries face in providing adequate employment to a growing population in limited-capacity labour markets, the forthcoming Fourth Report on Integrated Social Policy will be dedicated to the topic of labour markets and labour market policy.
