This workshop aims to provide technical support and to build the capacity of Common External Tariff Committee Members in the trade negotiations of the Arab Customs Union.

The main objectives of this workshop are to facilitate the process of negotiations by presenting basics and tools of trade negotiation, sharing experiences on customs unions in terms of global challenges, profits and losses, steps to success, calculating the mechanical impact of different scenarios of the common external tariff on fiscal revenue in the Arab countries and to develop Arab economic integration that contributes to Arab economic and social development.
