The Committee on Water Resources of the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), established pursuant to resolution 205 (XVIII) of 25 May 1995, is holding its thirteenth session in Beirut, on 27 and 28 June 2019.

The session will offer a platform for member State representatives to discuss issues including progress in achieving water-related Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Arab region; the water-energy-food nexus; regional cooperation on climate change; and progress made in implementing the Committee’s twelfth session recommendations.
