The Arab Women's Association is a registered charity organization, established in July 1982 by a group of Arab women residing in London. The charity's main aim is to help the needy and under-privileged children in the Middle East. The AWA sponsorship programme aims to provide needy children with their means of livelihood. The association achieves its aims by working in co-operation with reputable charity organizations in Lebanon and Palestine.
