Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) was established in 1988 through a Presidential Decree number 54 in 1988, and was amended by Presidential Decree number 273 in 1989. The Council is entrusted with policymaking, planning, coordinating, monitoring and the evaluation of activities in the areas of protection and development of children and mothers. NCCM operates through a strong network of NGOs, students, volunteers, community leaders.
