Technical Meeting to discuss a survey questionnaire on costing of violence against women in Palestine |
Based on results of the national consultations to develop the Roadmap to Estimate the Cost of Violence against Women in Palestine which took place last August 2017, ESCWA, UN-Women and the Palestinian national statistical bureau will hold a technical meeting to validate a survey on costing of violence against women in Palestine. The survey takes into consideration the types of direct and indirect costs identified during the national consultation. The meeting participants, including government and civil society organizations, will validate the survey questions. |

The national training workshop aims to improve technical capabilities in using gender statistics to monitor SDG gender indicators and in disseminating, communicating and using statistics and indicators. The workshop will cover topics such as: integrating a gender perspective into official statistics; presenting, disseminating and communicating gender statistics; and improving gender statistics literacy among data users. |
