12 August 2015	School Students Visit ESCWA, Get Briefed on its Activities	"What ESCWA is, What ESCWA Does," was the main theme of a briefing presented by Nadine Daou, Researcher in ESCWA Social Development Division, and Mirane Abi Zaki and Maryam Sleiman, Public Information Assistants, to a group of students from the FrÃ¨res Libanais School- Hadath, who visited ESCWA headquarters on 4 and 5 May 2015.
19 September 2017	Workshop on “Coherent Efficient and Effective National Technology Transfer System in Egypt”	This activity falls under the Development Account (DA) project on “Establishing National Technology Development and Transfer Systems in select ESCWA member states” which aims to strengthen the capacity of select countries in the ESCWA region to create an enabling policy environment for research and development, and commercialization of research results. The objective of this workshop is to discuss the studies conducted by the national consultants with the relevant national stakeholders and building on the conclusions to go for the next steps.

5 February 2019	Iraq second national training workshop to improve use of gender statistics	The national training workshop aims to improve technical capabilities in using gender statistics to monitor SDG gender indicators and in disseminating, communicating and using statistics and indicators. The workshop will cover topics such as: integrating a gender perspective into official statistics; presenting, disseminating and communicating gender statistics; and improving gender statistics literacy among data users.
