Thirteen senior civil servants from the Iraqi Ministries of Construction and Housing, Municipalities and Public Works, and Amanat Baghdad have completed a two-week training on management and strategic planning. The training workshop forms a component of the UNDG Iraq Trust Fund funded UN HABITAT project “Strengthening the Capacity of the Housing Sector in Iraq”. The training was structured around a strategic planning exercise covering a set of management topics.





  This document presents the reality of e-government strategies in the Arab countries and the adopted applications and prospects for their development. It also studies the projects undertaken in e-Governments and the new initiatives, as well as the legislative and legal frameworks, the interoperability frameworks and the monitoring and evaluation methodologies. In the end, this study presents suggestions and recommendations regarding the development of e-government in Arab countries.
