Participants in the UNESCWA 24th Ministerial Session are due to discuss Achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in the UNESCWA Region based on a report prepared by UNESCWA in 2005 with the collaboration of several United Nations agencies in the region. Eminent Arab thinkers met today, at the 28th ministerial session of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), held in Tunis, to discuss the theme “Social justice in the policies of Arab States”.
