16 November 2017	Executive Secretary Visits Lebanese House Speaker	Beirut, 14 November 2017 (Communication and Information Unit) -- United Nations Under-Secretary-General and Executive Secretary of ESCWA Mohamed Ali Al-Hakim today visited Lebanese House Speaker, Nabih Berri. Both sides discussed the current activities undertaken by ESCWA. The two sides also discussed the current situation in Lebanon and the region.

11 December 2014	الكويت تستضيف الاجتماع السنوي الأول للمنتدى العربي لحوكمة الانترنت	برعاية جامعة الدول العربية واللجنة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية لغربي آسيا (الإسكوا)، يعقد الاجتماع السنوي الأول للمنتدى العربي لحوكمة الانترنت الذي تستضيفه الجمعية الكويتية لتقنية المعلومات في 9-11 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2012، في فندق الريجنسي الكويت. ويعقد الاجتماع بالتعاون مع أمانة المنتدى ممثلة بالجهاز القومي لتنظيم الاتصالات (NTRA) في مصر، وبدعم من مجموعة من المؤسسات وهي Zain، RIPE NCC، ICANN، APTLD.
11 December 2014	Ambassador of Qatar at the UN-ESCWA	On Monday 5 January 2009, Executive Secretary Bader Omar AlDafa received the newly-appointed Ambassador of Qatar to Lebanon, Saad Al Muhannadi, in his offices at the UN-ESCWA headquarters, Riad Solh, Lebanon. AlDafa presented UN-ESWCA activities and goals for the achievement of Arab regional integration.

14 November 2017	Executive Secretary Receives Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon	Beirut, 13 November 2017 (Communication and Information Unit) – United Nations Under-Secretary-General and ESCWA Executive Secretary Mohamed Ali Al-Hakim today received Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon Wang Kejian at the UN House in Beirut. Both officials discussed enhancing cooperation between ESCWA and China. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Executive Secretary for Program Support Khawla Mattar and Special Assistant to the Executive Secretary Mohanad Al-Musawi.
11 December 2014	Saudi Ambassador Visits ESCWA	ESCWA Executive Secretary Bader AlDafa today received Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Awwad Osseiri, who is visiting the Regional Commission's quarters. Both parties discussed ESCWA activities and common projects between the Commission and Saudi Arabia. AlDafa had paid an official visit to KSA on 23-26 March 2009 to meet with officials and discuss means of common cooperation.
17 August 2017	Executive Secretary visits Walid Jumblatt	Beirut, 15 August 2017 (Communication and Information Unit) -- United Nations Under-Secretary-General and ESCWA Executive Secretary Mohamed Ali Al-Hakim visited today MP Walid Jumblatt at his Clemenceau residence. During his visit, the Executive Secretary was accompanied by ESCWA Deputy Executive Secretary for Program Support Khawla Mattar. The two sides discussed current affairs in the Arab region.
