The Jordanian capital Amman will host four major events for the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) from Sunday 6 October until Sunday 13 October 2013. The ESCWA Communication and Information Unit will issue press releases to shed light on these activities, which are listed in detail below:

- Expert Group Meeting on New Sources of Development Finance in the Arab Region (6-7 October 2013, Kempinski Hotel);

Beirut, 27 April, 2012 (ESCWA Communications and Information Unit)- The 27th Ministerial Session of ESCWA will be held on 9-10 May 2012 at the U.N. House in Beirut under the auspices of Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Miqati. High Level meetings preceding the Session will be held on 7-8 May, 2012. Within this context, ESCWA Communications and Information Unit (ECIU) kindly requests that all media institutions and reporters take the arrangements below into consideration in order to ensure maximum cooperation between ESCWA and the media.

  On 21 May 2015, the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) concluded the first Familiarization Seminars on Knowledge Management in support of ongoing public sector reforms in Iraq, including the Kurdistan Region.
