Jordanian Minister of Transport Lina Chbib will inaugurate the 14th Session of ESCWA’s Committee on Transport hosted in Amman on 9 and 10 October 2013, at the Kempinski Hotel.

ESCWA and Berytech Technology and Health launched on 19 September the Digital Arabic Content (DAC) Competition in Lebanon for 2013, which is open for participation until 31 October 2013.

The project is of great benefit to secondary school and university instructors and students, and promotes joint cooperation between ESCWA, Rotary clubs in Lebanon, the Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the Social Sciences Institute of the Lebanese University.
