ESCWA. The first edition of the Assessing Arab Economic Integration Report aims to provide a quantitative assessment of regional economic integration efforts, and generate practical and executable policy advice for member countries. Following a concise review of the potential impact and channels of economic integration, a system of indices has been developed to evaluate and compare performance, monitoring and integration at the global, regional and bilateral levels.
